Paul Stanley just released his autobiography, Face The Music: A Life Exposed and we received a review copy and Jay is working on reading it right now. While we patiently await his review, we will see how many of you all would like to read this book, too. That’s right! One of you lucky readers and KISS fans will win a copy as well.
Paul Stanley’s Face The Music: A Life Exposed
Face The Music tells the story, not only of Paul Stanley’s rise to fame, but also of his childhood dealing with adversity due to a physical deformity. I am looking forward to reading this book after Jay is done with it as I admire his ability to be so successful in music when he had a problem with one of his ears. That particular problem could have been really detrimental to his career. My husband’s favorite band is KISS and I have to admit, I have a lot of respect for Paul Stanley.
Face The Music: The Reviews Are In
Face The Music is getting rave reviews all over the rock world:
“Paul Stanley proves himself as an artist in music and on canvas and now with a great book.”
—JIMMY PAGE“Both honest and inspirational. Amazing tales from one of rock’s great frontmen.”
—SIR ELTON JOHN“Paul is a great man who has achieved great things. From the Popcorn Club all the way to the Hall of Fame, his story is inspiring and motivating for anyone who dreams big.”
—DAVE GROHL

I’m actually not a KISS fan, but I’d really like to read this book. I enjoy celebrity autobiographies about how they became popular, dealt with the popularity, and how they cope now that they aren’t in the lime light (as much). And I LOVE hearing about all the crazy stuff that happened to them when they where in the height of their popularity!

While I enjoy autobiographies, the hubby and I are KISS fans; especially the hubby who has been a fan since childhood. In 1996, we saw them in concert four times. It amazing what long careers they’ve had in music and they always put on a good show.

Four times in one year? That is pretty cool! They are Jay’s favorite band and he never saw them until he married me. We have been once, now, and will be going back to see them again this summer. 😉
Cheryl Malandrinos says
My hubby went to see them as a kid, too. His father used to take him; but one year, his father was away so his mom took him. It was the no makeup years. No foul language before, but the first words at that concert included the F-bomb. It’s good that they dropped that now the makeup is back on.
