Before you all get too upset, no, Darryl Worley was not officially arrested. Worley participated in a crime scene investigation at his daughter’s school where the children got to take part in solving a “crime” while learning a little more about the criminal process. The children got to interrogate some of their teachers, as well as Darryl Worley. Although, there were several suspects in the cupcake thieving caper, in the end, Worley was found to be the thief and was “arrested.” He was such a good sport about the whole thing that he even got to return to the school and eat cupcakes with the amateur sleuths!
Darryl Worley Arrested In Cupcake Caper
Country music star Darryl Worley has been “arrested” for stealing cupcakes at his daughter’s school! But don’t worry, it was all just part of the fun at the student crime lab. On May 12, at Friendship Christian School in Lebanon, Tennessee, Worley was one of the “suspects” in the case of the missing cupcakes. Students examined evidence, then interrogated Worley and others in attempt to identify the thief.
With the help of Lebanon police, the “Have You Forgotten” singer was revealed as the culprit. He was then read his rights, handcuffed, and placed in the back of a patrol car. Fortunately for Worley, he was soon released and allowed to eat cupcakes with the students.
