Calvin Gilmore Announces New Production In Myrtle Beach: Pure Magic

The groundbreaking producer and director that introduced live entertainment to Myrtle Beach over 30 years ago is now debuting his latest production, Pure Magic, starring The Wagsters. In this entirely new live production, The Wagsters bring magic, amazement, comedy and drama together with captivating card tricks, confounding disappearing acts and even some silly sleight of hand. After a successful preview showing earlier this year, Gilmore is announcing several dates for the 2017 season with more to be added.

With a charm and wit that is truly contagious, this illusionary duo has already won many hearts. Voted “Magicians of the Year” by Myrtle Beach Herald, The Wagsters have been featured as a special act of Gilmore’s Thunder and Light show and The Carolina Opry Christmas Special over the last two seasons and were so well received that Gilmore saw an opportunity for a feature show. Gilmore said “This is the sort of intimate magic show that every family loves—and Myrtle Beach has had a void in this area of entertainment. It’s the best kind of good clean family fun. The Wagsters are young, attractive, and talented—their star will rise quickly. People of all ages should see this appealing and compelling show while they can. It’s–magic!”

Shows are currently scheduled for May 27, June 29, July 11, July 18 and August 3 at 4:00pm. Additional dates are soon to be added, check our online calendar for updates throughout the year.
