Relax With These Coney Island Beach Pictures

August 13, 2015 by Dawn McAlexander

Relax With These Coney Island Beach Pictures

Earlier this week we talked about our recent visit to Coney Island and we shared out sunset pics from the rooftop of the restaurant Tom’s Coney Island. Today, we want to share with you some Coney Island Beach pictures.

Coney Island Beach Pictures

I never get in the water at the beach. I am scared of what might be under the water – eek. Years ago, I was at the beach and one of the people who went with me got a jelly fish sting. It didn’t seem like a pleasant experience so I have been pretty much done with the water since. Not to mention sharks. Did I mention that on the same trip, a couple of my traveling buddies caught a baby shark off the pier. Sheesh.

Anyway, I am all about some relaxation, laying back, reading a book, enjoying the scenery, listening to the music of the waves crashing the shore. I am all about that life. If you are about that life, too, then check out these Coney Island beach pictures and let us know what you think of the beach.

*Note: Like most places in New York, it has some litter. However, there are so many things to do and see in Coney Island that we feel you will get over that pretty quickly unless, of course, you only wanted to walk along the beach.

Of course I am a born and raised New Yorker, my grandmother took my mother there and my mother took me there, first the beach, then the rides!

After watching Shark Week I too am nervous about what lurks in the ocean! These shots are great, Dawn. I have not been to Coney Island since I was little. This really make me want to go again!

I imagine so, ha! I never get in the water. You just can’t see in it well enough for me to feel comfortable, lol.
