Coney Island Sunset Pictures: View From Tom’s Coney Island Restaurant

August 11, 2015 by Dawn McAlexander

Coney Island Sunset Pictures: The View From Atop Tom's Coney Island

Last month I went to a pre-screening for Ant-Man hosted by Paul Rudd and Disney. It was my first trip to NYC, so while I was there, I decided to make the most of it. We stayed in Brooklyn and decided to take a trip to Coney Island. I love beaches and lot of lights so this seemed like exactly something I would like. And, I have to say, I was not disappointed.

I have to admit that the beach is a bit littered. However, I never go to the beach to get in the water anyway. I just like to hear the ocean waves crashing. I like the relaxation of it all. Coney Island is home to the biggest boardwalk in the world, so there are tons of things for a family to do. From fair type rides, games, to tons of food, shopping and the beach, I am sure most people can find things to do at Coney Island. For me, it was watching the sunset on the rooftop of Tom’s Coney Island Restaurant.

I would definitely go back to Tom’s Coney Island. The food was really good, though I forgot to take a picture. We got burgers and both were really tasty. Also, be advised that they make their drinks really strong. Make sure you are ready, lol.
