On April 12th, we caught the Dustin Lynch Killed The Cowboy Tour at Salem Civic Center in Salem, Va. I’d seen Dustin Lynch previously at Carolina Country Music Fest, but never as the headliner. I really enjoyed the show, so I thought I would share my thoughts with you along with the Dustin Lynch Killed The Cowboy Tour setlist. Check and see if he is playing your favorites on this tour!

Dustin Lynch Killed The Cowboy Tour Review
One thing I loved about Dustin Lynch’s show was how he interacted with the crowd. He took selfies with audience members and signed hats, shirts and tons of other souvenirs while also performing. He even took the phones from some fans and recorded videos of himself singing for them. I thought that was really cool, especially considering the way artists like Miranda Lambert and Madonna have treated concert goers recently. If I buy a ticket to a concert, that is my seat for the evening. If I choose to use it, I will. Madonna certainly won’t be deciding if I get to sit down or not. And, as far as Miranda goes, I make my living taking concert photos. If that is her attitude [read the linked article for more details], I am fine not taking any more of her. Dustin Lynch really just seemed only concerned with the audience having a good time. And that is exactly what we had.
There was either a bachelorette party or a new bride at the Dustin Lynch concert and he shared a celebratory drink with them [he got someone on his team to make sure they were 21 first]. I imagine that is a moment they will remember for many years to come. The vibe was definitely right for the party crowd so I would recommend this concert for people looking for a rowdy night out or those who are celebrating a special occasion or event. Get as close to the front as you can if you want a shot at interacting with Lynch. Your odds are actually pretty good!
Check out where our boy pranked Blake Shelton. This reminds me of the good old days when Blake and Craig Morgan used to pull shenanigans on each other. Oh my, I’m still laughing. And as far as the Salem Civic Center goes, it’s a midsize venue AND they offer decent priced food, such as chicken tenders, hot dogs, etc. The lady who sat next to us bought chicken tenders and fries and I think she said they were $7. If you are a concert frequenter, then you KNOW that is a good price. We ate before getting there, but we might eat at the Salem Civic Center next time we have a concert there – then we will let you know if the food is good or not.
