Things To Come In 2018 At Universal Orlando Resort #ReadyForUniversal

Last year, I made my first visit to Universal Orlando Resort and one of the things that I liked best was Universal CityWalk. You guys probably already know about my undying affection for both Margaritaville and Hard Rock Cafe, since I talk about them so much, but the CityWalk is also home to a huge movie theater and lots of other cool things to do. And then, of course, there are the parks! There really is so much fun to be had in Orlando, isn’t there? And now there will be even more! Check out the things to come this year at Universal Orlando Resort so you can start planning your trip now!

Things To Come In 2018 At Universal Orlando Resort #ReadyForUniversal

Fast & Furious – Supercharged Coming to Universal Studios Florida

In Spring 2018, Universal Orlando’s newest attraction, Fast & Furious – Supercharged, will open at Universal Studios Florida and bring one of the world’s hottest film franchises to life in a whole new way. Fast & Furious – Supercharged will be the only place where you can see – and even take photos with – 15 supercharged Fast & Furious cars – many of them driven by some of your favorite Fast family members. Get ready to live an original Fast & Furious story that expands upon the films and brings you face-to-face with your favorite Fast characters.

Experience the Stunning Spectacle of The Nighttime Lights at Hogwarts Castle

Cap off your day at Universal Orlando Resort with a must-see, breathtaking experience. The Nighttime Lights at Hogwarts Castle transforms the castle into a dazzling display of lights, special effects and music. Gryffindor, Slytherin, Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff will all be represented, with each house showcasing its pride in its own unique way, set to incredible music based on the original scores from the Harry Potter films.

The Nighttime Lights at Hogwarts Castle is scheduled to run select nights throughout 2018.

Get Ready for Voodoo Doughnut at Universal CityWalk

This spring, the sinfully delicious and unconventional flavors of Voodoo Doughnut are arriving east of the Mississippi at Universal Orlando Resort. The Portland-based franchise that’s anything but conventional is an exciting new addition to Universal CityWalk in Orlando. This one-of-a-kind spot will feature Voodoo Doughnut’s signature originals and one-of-a-kind delectables such as their classic Bacon Maple Bar, Grape Ape and, of course, Voodoo Doll doughnuts.

Why You’ll Want to Stay at Universal’s Aventura Hotel

We’re getting close! Universal’s Aventura Hotel will welcome its first guests later this year. And with modern touches and amenities incorporated in each room, it will be Universal’s sleekest hotel yet. It’s also conveniently located in the center of all three theme parks and Universal CityWalk, and guests will get exclusive benefits, like early park admission. Not to mention the breathtaking views from the rooftop bar and grill!

Universal’s Aventura Hotel will also be one of the resort’s most affordable hotels, perfect for value-savvy travelers who don’t want to miss out on anything that Universal Orlando Resort has to offer.

Macklemore, Fifth Harmony headline Universal’s Mardi Gras Concerts

It’s time to celebrate the good life at Universal Orlando Resort. This year, Florida’s biggest party will run daily for a record 64 nights from Feb. 3 through April 7. Plus, on select nights you’ll be able to enjoy performances by nationally-recognized musical acts including Macklemore, Fifth Harmony and Kelsea Ballerini. Find the full line-up here.

Universal Orlando Resort is a unique destination where guests are not just entertained – they are part of the most exhilarating entertainment ever created. Our destination is home to three theme parks, an entertainment complex – Universal CityWalk – and five on-site hotels.

Mardi Gras event occurs rain or shine. No rain checks, returns or refunds. Prices, times, dates and entertainment are subject to change without notice. Additional restrictions may apply.
