Saturday night, Wes and I went to the Hatfield and McCoy Dinner Feud in Pigeon Forge, TN. It’s an all you can eat dinner show where you are immersed in the legend of the Hatfields and McCoys in a family friendly atmosphere. I had visited once before, but Wes never had, so I felt that he would really enjoy it just as I had previously.

All You Can Eat at Hatfield and McCoy Dinner Feud
If you are going to the Hatfield and McCoy Dinner Feud, make sure you come hungry. Unlike other dinner shows in the area, you get your own table and the food is all you can eat and served family style. It’s not that I mind sitting near other people at all but, if you are on a date, I think it’s kind of nice to have a table to yourself. 😉
The food at Hatfield and McCoy Dinner Feud is really good country fare. We had fried chicken, BBQ, rolls, corn on the cob, mashed potatoes [that were AHMAZIIING, by the way – Wes says he can make some like them. He is quite the fabulous chef so we shall see}, cole slaw and creamy soup [super yummy!]. We also had banana pudding for dessert. You could choose chocolate pudding instead if you prefer. There are also lots of beverages to choose from. I had unsweetened tea and Wes had Sprite.
The Hatfield and McCoy Dinner Show Was Great
Not only did the wait staff take care of us during dinner, I feel like I recognized many of them participating in the actual show as well. This is not like a high school production level show either. Many of the actors in the Hatfield and McCoy Dinner Feud can really belt out a tune! And there are a lot of stunts and highly choreographed dancing to other great artists’ songs including my man Ricky Skaggs [yaaaaaasss!].
The Hatfield and McCoy Dinner Feud is really a great way to spend your evening in Pigeon Forge, especially if you don’t want to have to come up with 2 ideas: one for dinner and one for entertainment. Forget that. Be sure to come early and check out all of the coolness outside the dinner show, as well. They have live animals and quirky signs and an outhouse you can go take pictures in. Keep your clothes on though. We don’t need all that. 😉

We saw this dinner show a few months ago and really enjoyed the food and the show. A hint to first timers – arrive about an hour before show time. The parking lot fills up quickly and you eat your meal before the show starts. The servers really work hard, running up and down stairs to the tiered table seating with heavy loaded trays of food.
These are all great tips. The servers do really work their butts off. Between the stairs and those heavy trays of food, I would drop something on someone for sure. And the show started at 8 for us, I think, and we were instructed to get there like 7:15 if memory serves me correctly.
