Madame Tussauds Nashville Adds 3 Pop Superstars In Celebration of Galentine’s Day #MadameTussaudsNashville

Madame Tussauds Nashville Adds 3 Pop Superstars In Celebration of Galentine's Day #MadameTussaudsNashville

Madame Tussauds, the world-renowned wax attraction, is observing Galentine’s Day by adding three female superstars, Katy Perry, Rihanna and Miley Cyrus to the star-studded attraction coming to Nashville this April. In honor of Galentine’s Day, an unofficial holiday where women appreciate their female friends, the Music City location has created a Spotify playlist filled with hits from its lineup of top female talent.

Madame Tussauds Nashville Adds 3 Pop Superstars In Celebration of Galentine’s Day

Best-selling musical artist, Katy Perry, will light up the scene like a “Firework” in an America-themed outfit. The USA’s stars and stripes will be featured throughout the figure’s crystal adorned dress, complete with red stiletto heels and an American flag crystal microphone.

Miley Cyrus will come into the attraction like a “Wrecking Ball” atop the grey wrecking ball from the star’s famous music video. The figure features her iconic, short blonde locks, white two-piece outfit and cherry red lips.

After a decade of churning out smash hits, international star Rihanna is a staple in today’s music scene and shows no signs of slowing down. Her figure captures RiRi during her famed 2016 ANTI tour and will “Work” in a replica of her tan laced jumpsuit worn on stage.

These powerhouse singers join several other already-announced female superstars from including Taylor Swift, Beyoncé, Carrie Underwood, Billie Holiday, Ella Fitzgerald and Minnie Pearl. The “Madame Tussuads Nashville Galentine’s Day” Spotify playlist celebrates the female figures set to appear in the attraction and their contribution to musical history. The upcoming Madame Tussauds Nashville will be the first in the U.S. that focuses solely on music icons that have shaped America’s musical landscape, and the newly announced trio are no exception.

Each Madame Tussauds figure is truly a work of art, involving teams of professional artists and sculptors who spend months on extensive research and take more than 300 measurements to recreate world-famous icons to achieve the kind of astonishing realism that has been at the heart of the 250-year Madame Tussauds legacy.

Guests are encouraged to have fun with the famous stars from musical genres such as Country, Rock n Roll, Blues and Pop. Additional figures hitting the stage at Madame Tussauds Nashville include Bob Dylan, Elvis Presley, Jimi Hendrix, Johnny Cash, Keith Urban, Little Jimmy Dickens, Louis Armstrong and Stevie Wonder.

To stay up-to-date on progress and new figure reveals, visit the attraction’s website and join the newsletter at https://www.madametussauds.com/nashville.

As popular as Madame Tussauds is I’ve not been to one yet. I will go this summer, I’m sure the kids will enjoy it. That Miley Cyrus one is really good. They didn’t do so hot with Rihanna, I didn’t recognize her immediately.
