Seasons Of Gray ~
Nowadays it seems that many movies are covered up with gore and violence. These are not the types of films that you always would want to take your family to see. However, there are wonderful alternatives out there. One of those alternatives is the family oriented film “Seasons of Gray,” which we recently watched and I am here to tell you about it.
Seasons Of Gray: Based On The Story Of Joseph
“Seasons of Gray” parallels the story of Joseph from the Bible. It is the story of Brady Gray, portrayed by Andrew Cheney, who is kicked off his family’s ranch by his brothers, who are jealous because their father favors Brady. As a result of his dismissal from the farm, Brady finds himself in the city of Dallas when a good Samaritan stranger named Chris, portrayed by Akron Watson, picks him up and befriends him. Brady starts a whole new life in Dallas, but his troubles are far from over. He winds up in prison as a result of being falsely accused of assaulting his new boss’s wife. Brady rebounds from this to find himself in yet another dilemma that involves his family and their ranch.
“Seasons of Gray” also features Megan Parker as Kate Welling, a young intern at the business where Brady and Chris work who takes a liking to Brady, but finds herself torn when Brady dismisses her after he is locked up.
My Thoughts On “Seasons Of Gray”
This film had some beautiful scenery. From the ranch where Brady’s family worked and lived, to the scenes of the skyline of Dallas, I really enjoyed the cinematography. The story line is very family oriented and is a welcome break from the violence that is found in many top rated films of today. If you are looking for a good alternative to what might be showing at the local theater, or if you just enjoy a good family oriented film, then you will find “Seasons of Gray” to be exactly what you are looking for. Be sure to check out the scenery as I did. It was indeed very beautiful and peaceful. Overall, it was a well done film with a very positive message.
