World War Z Movie Review ~
A few weeks ago I had the privilege to go to the theater and see World War Z. Beforehand, I thought this would be a movie that I would like, but instead I came out of the theater LOVING it. Not to mention that the sexy Brad Pitt being in it sure didn’t hurt. ๐
World War Z Movie Review
I think that this movie will be great for anyone that loves action packed films. The entire movie I was sitting on the edge of my seat, just waiting for the next big thing to happen. Brad Pitt does an awesome job playing a husband and father that is sent out to help end the zombie outbreak that is quickly taking over the world. Even if you don’t love action, this movie tells the story of how Pitt’s character struggles being away from his family while he does everything humanly possible to keep them safe.
Also, this movie shows quite a bit of amazing special effects. The movie team did a wonderful job of creating life-like looking zombies (that I found quite creepy, I might add). The only major downfall in this movie was that there is one scene {involving a lot of zombies} that looks totally unrealistic. Other than that, I really enjoyed the special effects. I can’t tell you how tired I am of seeing zombie movies that are so unrealistic to the point where they look silly.
Lastly, my favorite part of the movie was that it always has you second guessing. Every time I thought I had the movie figured out, it changed. I love that because, like I said previously, it kept me on the edge of my seat. Also, I love how this movie takes quite a different approach to the whole “zombie” theory. They use an original approach that kept me guessing. I really don’t enjoy predictable movies. Brad Pitt and Mireille Enos did a great job with their portrayal of their characters and made me really empathize with their situation. Also, there was an actress who I had never seen before, her name is Daniella Kertesz and she did an AMAZING job at playing a hardcore soldier that shows tremendous amounts of bravery all throughout the movie.
World War Z is by far the best zombie movie that I have ever seen, and I have seen quite a few.
What You Need To Know About World War Z
I can not recommend World War Z for children who get scared easily or can’t handle a fair amount of gore. Otherwise, I think sci-fi enthusiasts and people who like action packed movies and zombie apocalypse people will really dig this movie.
Overall, I would give this movie a solid four stars and would recommend you go see it.
