Fast And Furious 6 Movie Review #Fast6

Fast and Furious 6~

Fast and Furious 6 - Paul Walker, Vin Diesel, The Rock, Dwayne Johnson

Ok, movie watchers, Vin Diesel, Paul Walker and The Rock fans, if you haven’t yet seen Fast and Furious 6 because you are not sure about it, here it is, my review of this film so that hopefully it can help you determine whether or not you want to see it.

About Fast and Furious 6

Fast and Furious 6 brings back the entire “family” from the original Fast and Furious film, with the addition of Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, who reprises his role of DSS Agent Luke Hobbs. The film begins by giving us a glimpse into the ever-growing family with Brian O’Connor (Paul Walker) and his wife, Mia (Jordana Brewster) on their way into the hospital to give birth to their son, accompanied by Dom Toretto (Vin Diesel).

Meanwhile, Hobbs and his partner Riley (Gina Carano) are investigating a former military Special Forces officer gone rogue named Owen Shaw (Luke Evans). Hobbs realizes that they need help, and he turns to Dom and his retired crew for help. Dom is reluctant, until Hobbs reveals a series of pictures that show Letty Ortiz (Michelle Rodriguez), believed to be dead, is still alive and working with Shaw. Ortiz is Dom’s old girlfriend. This sets in motion a thrill ride that grabs hold of you and just will not let go.

My Thoughts

Expect plenty of action and adventure, high speed car chases and races, crashes and fight scenes. Just like all the other Fast and Furious films, this one has plenty of each. There are also moments of emotion that come through in this movie as well, although they are not overly emotional – so guys will still really enjoy this film. There is also an unexpected little twist that happens later in the film. I won’t play spoiler and reveal it, but suffice to say it is a little shocking.

Hint: Don’t skip the credits or you will miss something big.

Just like the other Fast and Furious films, some of the action sequences involve some unbelievable stunts. That, to me, is a bit of a drawback, especially when they are pertinent to the story line. But, a lot of people seem to enjoy those outrageous stunts. I feel the fight scenes are incredible though!

So, What Did I Rate Fast and Furious 6?

Overall I give this film 4.5 stars out of 5. It is easily the best of the entire Fast and Furious series. That says a lot. I have seen all of them, and I have also loved them all! So, stop wasting time and go see it today!

About Jay Crawford

Jay is a die hard sports fan {football and college basketball being his favorites}. His favorite teams are the Carolina Panthers and Tarheels and, of course, his alma mater, the Appalachian Mountaineers. He spends his free time listening to music, especially KISS, Def Leppard, the Eagles and a lot of the newer country music, and watching comic book and action movies. The more special effects - the better.
