80s Video Flashback: Eddie Money #moreclassywriting

Eddie Money Video Flashback ~

With hits like Take Me Home Tonight, Walk On Water and Two Tickets To Paradise, Eddie Money made a pretty huge impact on 70s and 80s music. With music that has been able to stand the test of time, let’s take a stroll down his video memory lane and see what he is doing today.

I have loved Eddie Money for years. I remember going to a Billy Currington concert at Radford University a few years ago and hearing “Take Me Home Tonight” playing on the loud speaker before Billy came out onto the stage. I think that song, far and away, was my favorite over Eddie Money’s collection of hits. It single-handedly made me a fan for life. Though I have never gotten to see him in concert, his music has resonated with me for years.

Eddie Money Fun Fact

Did you know that Eddie Money was a NYPD trainee and officer for two years?

Where Is Eddie Money Now?

I am sure that most of you have seen the Eddie Money Geico commercial at this point. If not, check it out above. πŸ™‚ Though it has been a few years since Two Tickets To Paradise was on the charts, his voice still sounds pretty stellar to me. πŸ™‚ That look on his face kills me! Ha!

Eddie Money: On Tour

Good news, folks! Eddie Money is currently on tour. And it looks like he is playing fairs and smaller venues. I love that. As a person that has been to hundreds of concerts, the smaller venues are ALWAYS the best! As of right now, all of his shows are too far for me to travel to, but perhaps he will come to North Carolina or Southwest Virginia sometime soon. πŸ™‚ I will keep an eye out!

I have grown up hearing these songs but your post just now helped me put a face to the music. I can’t say that I’ve ever seen him in concert & probably will not. I have enjoyed his music & will continue to πŸ™‚

Hahaha! I love when I see something from my youth {which doesn’t seem that long ago to me} and my daughter is all, “MOM! That is SO OLD!”
