I don’t know about you, but I am pretty stoked to see the newest addition to the the Marvel Super Hero franchise. Thor: The Dark World is coming to theaters on November 8th. He was one of my favorite characters in The Avengers and I can’t wait to catch this movie on the big screen this fall. But you don’t have to wait until fall to get a glimpse of the action. Marvel’s “Thor: The Dark World” continues the big-screen adventures of Thor, the Mighty Avenger, as he battles to save Earth and the Nine Realms from a shadowy enemy that predates the universe itself.  In the aftermath of Marvel’s “Thor” and “Marvel’s The Avengers,” Thor fights to restore order across the cosmos, but an ancient race led by the vengeful Malekith returns to plunge the universe back into darkness.  Faced with an enemy that even Odin and Asgard cannot withstand, Thor must embark on his most perilous and personal journey yet, one that will reunite him with Jane Foster and force him to sacrifice everything to save us all.

 

Oh, and he is really hot. Let’s not forget that. Between him and Bruce Banner, I think I might explode before the next Avengers movie finally comes out. 😉

Thor: The Dark World stars Chris Hemsworth, Natalie Portman, Tom Hiddleston and Anthony Hopkins as well as many other talented actors and actresses. Marvel’s “Thor: The Dark World” is directed by Alan Taylor and is based on Marvel’s classic Super Hero Thor, who first appeared in the comic book “Journey into Mystery “ #83 in August, 1962.

      I did, too. I wasn’t even aware of it until I saw Avengers. Then I immediately went out and got Thor, too. LOVE LOVE LOVE it.

    I am actually pretty excited about this movie. I don’t get so pumped up over most superhero movies and usually wait to see them until they hit the movie channels, but this one looks really promising.
