Rioz Brazilian Steakhouse In Myrtle Beach, SC #sponsored @RiozBrazilianSt

Put the word “steakhouse” out there when you are asking me where I want to eat, and I will pick it ten times out of ten. However, a Brazilian steakhouse seems even more intriguing. Rioz Brazilian Steakhouse in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, did not disappoint. In a word, it was delicious. I could think of several other adjectives to describe our experience at Rioz Brazilian Steakhouse as well; fabulous, fun, exciting and tasty come to mind right off the bat.

Rioz Brazilian Steakhouse is a steakhouse, yes, but in the tradition of the way food is served in Brazil, known as Churrascaria. If you have never been to a Brazilian steakhouse, here’s how it works. Once you are seated, you begin by going to the salad bar. The one at Rioz Brazilian Steakhouse has several items (if I remember correctly our server said there were over 36 items) including not only fresh greens and salad toppings, but also several cheeses such as mozzarella and baby swiss, as well as fresh sushi and shrimp. Our daughter loves sushi and doesn’t have it often, so she was especially pleased to find this on the salad bar.

After you have finished with the salad bar, you have a token on your table that resembles a coaster. It has a red side and a green side. When you are ready for meat, you then turn the token up to the green side, and the servers, known as “Gauchos”, will bring skewers of fresh meat right to your table. Once you have enough meat, turn your token back to red, and they will stop coming over.

The selection is almost too much to handle. From fresh sirloin to filet mignon cooked to your choice of temperatures, bacon-wrapped chicken to fresh cuts of lamb, it is a meat lover’s dream. All this is served with a side of fried bananas and mashed potatoes. Oh, and be sure to try the grilled pineapple. It is heavenly!

It was easy for all of use to find something that we loved at Rioz Brazilian Steakhouse. We all had such a great time and great food that we honestly could not find anything bad to say about our experience there. The service was wonderful, very attentive, and they took care of our every need. And the food. Ahhh, the food was magnificent.

Rioz Brazilian Steakhouse is a bit pricey but it’s comparable in price to any of the area seafood buffets, and tastes WAY better. It is well worth the price. Trust. The dessert is not included in the price but you must also try one of the many heavenly looking desserts. The New York Cheesecake and the White and Dark Chocolate Mousse Cake come highly recommended by us. I can almost guarantee that you will not find a better meal anywhere in Myrtle Beach. It was definitely our favorite.

  • My husband is a big meat eater, and I am sure he would adore this place. I will have to check it out soon!

  • wow. i wouldn't know what to order. i love brazilian food. and steak. and they have it all. i'd need elastic waist pants.

    • That's the cool thing. You don't have to order. They just bring skewers to your table and you choose what you want then.

So, what the manager suggested we do was to get a little of a couple things and eat it while it was hot and then get more. So, that is what we did. That is definitely what I would suggest to others. I tried the chicken wrapped in bacon and the filet mignon. I am a huge chicken fan, so that was my favorite, but my daughter and husband both liked the flank steak best of what they tried. But there were so many things that we didn't even get to try because we got full, lol.

  • I absolutely adore Brazilian Steakhouses! They have the best food and such an amazing atmosphere!

  • That sounds so good. The food looks fabulous. I wish there was one in Pennsylvania!
