I don’t believe there has ever been a pasta that I have met that I have not loved. I wish I could say that for all the people I have met. I kid. Seriously, though… pasta = yum! I very much enjoy ravioli in its most traditional form: boiled and covered in pasta. But what if you could have it in almost a mozzarella stick form? Warm, gooey cheese in the middle with a satisfying, crunch? Yes, please. Today, we are going to teach you how to make Air Fryer Cheese Ravioli, and, the best part? It won’t take you any longer than making it the traditional way!
Air Fryer Cheese Ravioli
Ingredients
- 20oz Bag Frozen Cheese Ravioli
- 2 Cups Panko Bread Crumbs
- 2 Eggs
- Your Favorite Marinara Sauce
- Cooking Spray (optional)
Directions
- Coat the frozen ravioli in egg.
- Roll in Panko bread crumbs.
- If you prefer a deep fry taste, coat in cooking spray. If you want a baked taste, skip the cooking spray.
- Air fry for 15-20 minutes at 350 [until desired crispy-ness].
- Dunk in marinara sauce & enjoy!
I seriously love the crunch the best about this cooking method. Heating the ravioli in the air fryer really just takes this simple dish up a notch, in my opinion. For me, Air Fryer Cheese Ravioli also seems to come together a bit faster than the more traditional recipe. Yes, there is a tiny bit more prep work involved but you don’t have to wait for either an oven to pre-heat or water to bowl. I haven’t tried this particular recipe with children, but I am betting they would really enjoy eating their ravioli this way. What kid doesn’t like crunchy foods and dipping? You might could sneak some [gasp!] spinach [gasp!] ravioli into their diets this way!
