A few years ago, I got the pleasure of interviewing Stephanie Quayle before her performance at Carolina Country Music Fest. Unfortunately, I was not able to catch her set during the festival, but I did get to finally see her live last weekend in Greensboro at Cone Denim Entertainment Center. After seeing Walker Hayes in this venue a few years ago, it has slowly become one of my favorites, with it’s intimate setting and great location, surrounded by several amazing restaurants in easy walking distance.
Stephanie Quayle Rocks Cone Denim Entertainment Center
After listening to Stephanie Quayle for a few years now, I have of course developed some favorites. If you are new to her music and are looking for some suggestions to dip your toes in, I highly recommend, “Wild Frontier” [my personal favorite], “Winnebago,” “If I Was A Cowboy,” “I’ve Got Your Six,” “Selfish” and “The Way You See Me” – all of which she performed live. Don’t you just hate it when you are all pumped to go to a concert and the artist doesn’t do half of your songs? Shout out to when I saw John Michael Montgomery and he didn’t sing “Cover You In Kisses.” Ugh. Don’t worry. Stephanie Quayle has got you, boo.
Quayle also sang a new, beautiful song that I had never heard prior to this concert and have not been able to locate online since. I believe the song was called “Lone Ranger,” so be sure to keep your ears on the lookout for this song, perhaps as an upcoming single from the songstress.
What I love most about Quayle is that she is so approachable and friendly. She walked off the stage, into the crowd, and interacted and danced with her fans for a few songs and even hung around after her show to sign autographs. Speaking as someone who has been to hundreds of concerts, there really just aren’t that many artists who do that anymore. If you are looking for a full concert experience that includes a great live show with fun songs you can sing to as well as the good possibility of a meet and greet experience, Stephanie Quayle is definitely where you need to start.
