You’ve got a friend in these guys – the driving force behind Toy Story 4.

A few weeks ago my family and I went to Disney World for the first time. I thought my life was complete when I got to meet Buzz Lightyear. My daughter got to meet both Buzz and Woody, but back to me. Anyway, I realized that my life was not complete after all when I just found out there is going to be a Toy Story 4!

Toy Story 4 Release Date Set

Nearly two decades after Pixar Animation Studios created the world’s first computer-animated feature film with TOY STORY {aka the most epic movie ever}, it revealed plans for Disney* Pixar’s TOY STORY 4, an adventure that returns audiences to the world of the studio’s signature characters.

The Toy Story 4 release date is June 16, 2017.

Toy Story 4 is set to be directed by John Lasseter, director of the original “Toy Story” and “Toy Story 2.” Toy Story 4 opens a new chapter in the lives of Woody, Buzz Lightyear and the “Toy Story” gang. This 4th installment comes to you from the creators of the first three Toy Story installments.

“We love these characters so much; they are like family to us,” said Lasseter. “We don’t want to do anything with them unless it lives up to or surpasses what’s gone before. ‘Toy Story 3’ ended Woody and Buzz’s story with Andy so perfectly that for a long time, we never even talked about doing another ‘Toy Story’ movie. But when Andrew, Pete, Lee and I came up with this new idea, I just could not stop thinking about it. It was so exciting to me, I knew we had to make this movie-and I wanted to direct it myself.”

The Toy Story 4 release date is June 16, 2017.

  • My kids will probably be too old for this by the time it comes out, but I might go see it anyways.

  • I love Disney animated movies (although I often cry at them for one reason or another. LOL). While they are cartoons, I think they are designed to be of interest to a variety of ages. Like every Disney movie, it will be on our must-watch list.

  • I think it will be very fun to learn where they take the story. I know my entire family will be eager to see it when it comes out......even if we're all adults by then.

  • My kids will be SO excited, we can never get enough of Toy Story! I am sure they will be just as good as the others!
