soup2nuts Custom Social Media Designs ~

As most of you know, Eat Play Rock is a new site. So new, in fact, that all of the social media accounts still look like either blank slates or just kind of “blah.” When I opened Eat Play Rock back in March, I was most concerned with how the actual site looked and figured I would get to the social media sites when I could. And that has turned into months. So, Stace from soup2nuts was nice enough to make an offer that I couldn’t refuse! She offered to do my social media design in exchange for a review. Being as I like to think of myself as a smart person, I knew that an offer that would allow me to get designs FAR better than what I could do myself was something that I surely did not want to pass up on.

My instructions to Stace were to take my logo from the top of the Eat Play Rock site and do with it as she liked for my social media accounts. And she came up with designs that I love and I feel represent the Eat Play Rock brand professionally and look cool. However, don’t take my word for it. Check it out for yourself. 🙂

soup2nuts Google+ Custom Design

Here is what I was using before…

And here is what the Eat Play Rock Google+ page looks like when using the header that soup2nuts created for me…

I think that what I was using before looked very unprofessional. I had taken a couple stabs at making my own cover using directions I found online, but I found it to be very confusing and I finally got fed up and gave up. Stace made me a very awesome cover much like what I *attempted* to make on my own, only way better. She also offered to install it for me, but that was actually a task I could handle on my own so I chose to do that myself.

One thing I really liked was that she left a lot of extra background in the header. So, I could move the Eat Play Rock wording to pretty much any position I wanted. Love it!

soup2nuts Facebook Custom Design

I did actually have a design for my Facebook header {though I made it and it wasn’t awesome}, but when Facebook enlisted the infamous “20% rule” I got rid of it. When Stace came up with my Facebook design I was worried because I thought the “20% rule” was still in effect but she informed me that Facebook did away with it! Yay!

So, here is what my Eat Play Rock Facebook page looked like before…

And here is what the Eat Play Rock Facebook page looks like now, using soup2nuts’ custom design…

I think the design from soup2nuts looks far more professional. What do you think?

soup2nuts Twitter Custom Design

The Eat Play Rock Twitter account is the social media page that I definitely had the most luck with designing myself. Here is what I was able to do with the page on my own…

But I am a big enough person to admit that the Twitter custom design that Stace from soup2nuts created for me is far cooler than what I came up with. Wouldn’t you agree?

How Would I Rate soup2nuts?

My overall experience with soup2nuts was very professional. I liked my Eat Play Rock designs immediately, but I requested a few changes with my Cheap Is The New Classy designs {which I will be reviewing there soon} and Stace was very attentive and listened closely to what I asked for. She did not get upset when I asked for revisions and I LOVE that in a designer. You know what you want for your brand and you want a designer who understands that.

Stace also works VERY quickly. She had something to me for approval on the exact day she told me that she would for each site. If you are on a deadline or you just like people who do what they say they will when they say they will, then soup2nuts is a company I feel that you will be very impressed with.

I HIGHLY recommend Stace.

  • Agree! These all look great! I love the Eat Play Rock logo and the background just adds the right amount of splash! Stace does great work for sure!

  • All of your sites look uniform and unique all at the same time - if you know what I mean. They are identifiable as yours and have a cohesive design. Very nice! Great service is a bonus!

    • Thank you! She is working on my header for Cheap Is The New Classy, too - so look for a change there soon. :)

  • Oh I love those changes! They look awesome! I am in need of a new header on my blog as well as on all my social sites. I will definitely have to file Soup2nuts in my possible designers folder!

    • She is working on my header right now for Cheap Is The New Classy so be sure to check it out in a few days and see what you think. :)

    • She is very affordable. I checked with several designers before choosing one. Yes, I got what you see above for review, but I am also getting her to do the social media for Cheap Is The New Classy as well as a few other things that I am paying her for. It was a great price for great service. :)

  • It's great when all of your social media has a distinct, yet harmonious flow. I love that she made each a little different, yet still kept the logo predominant and in tact.
